Waylon Albright "Shooter" Jennings was just 2 years old when his father Waylon Jennings performed opening weekend at Billy Bob's Texas in 1981. His mother, country artist Jessi Colter, instilled a love of performing in Shooter and music would forever become a part of his life. He traveled the first few years of his life in a crib on his parents' tour bus surrounded by the likes of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson. By age 5, he was playing drums, at 8 began taking piano lessons, and started playing guitar at age 14. Over the years, Shooter has brought his version of Outlaw Country Rock to his fans on the Billy Bob's stage, and even stopped to take a photo of his hands in the concrete handprints of his father. From the first time Shooter headlined at Billy Bob's - we've always dreamed of adding his amazing talent to the "Live at Billy Bob's Texas" label.
